  1. Checkin at Forth Belle boat tours
    1. Edit

My Mum had got my Nana tickets for a cruise on the forth as a birthday present and as the weather forecast was pretty good, we decided to take the trip today.

    2. Edit

This time we were on the Belle Of The Forth which was a little smaller than the Maid Of The Forth which we'd taken last time but the group was nice and small, so there was plenty of room to move around the boat.

Though there was a little bit of haze in the air, the view was pretty good, it was sunny and the sea was nice and calm.

Not long after setting off, we spotted a group of seals lazing on a buoy. They were super cute and took no notice of us as we sailed past. I couldn't believe how big they were!

There were lots of seabirds to look out for too. In the spring, you can see puffins nesting in the Forth before flying to Jamaica.

    8. Edit

We spotted a lot more seals as the journey continued and even a jellyfish swimming near the surface.

We got a good view of the construction of the bridge on our way back to the shore.

  2. Checkin at Burger.
    1. Edit

Back on dry land, everyone was feeling hungry so we went for a bite to eat at Burger. I had the French Poodle Veggie Dog which was topped with camembert and pear.

  3. Checkin at Luca's
    1. Edit

Tom took me out for ice cream in the evening and then there was an aurora alert so he drove me up Blackford Hill. Sadly it was too cloudy and misty to see the lights but I know we'll get lucky one day.
