  1. Checkin at Mademoiselle Macaron
    1. Edit

We have an awesome new cafe called Mademoiselle Macaron in Edinburgh and being macaron lovers, we couldn't wait to check it out.

The owner Rachel is super sweet (describing herself as a mix between Zooey Deschanel and Lena Dunham) and perfected the art of macaron baking while taking a year out in Paris. We're going to be learning how-to bake the perfect ganache with her in a couple of weeks on the CO+K blog.

There were so many unique flavours of macaron that it was hard to pick but we shared the Earl Grey, lavender, Hendrick's gin and Innis & Gun beer macaroons which were all amazing.

  2. Checkin at unknown place
    1. Edit

Tom had signed up us for a Disarono event in the evening which was being held at Lulu's on George Street.

Even though the Disarono cocktails were pretty tasty, I ended up cutting my finger on a rusty tap and felt a little dizzy so we had to go home early.

Luckily, we'd had a chance to try out the fun photobooth before we left.
