  1. Checkin at Montpeliers Bar & Brasserie
    1. Edit

One of the best things we used to do when we lived in London was meet up with our friends every weekend for brunch and I felt all nostalgic as we took everyone for breakfast at Montpeliers this morning.

    2. Edit

It was just warm enough to sit outside and I tucked in to a plate of scrambled eggs with mushrooms.

  2. Checkin at Coco Chocolate
    1. Edit

After breakfast, we took everyone to Coco Chocolate so they could try some haggis spiced chocolate. The tills were broken but luckily I had the right change for a peanut butter truffle which was delicious.

  3. Checkin at The Meadows Edinburgh

We then walked through the Meadows in to the centre. I wonder if we're giving everyone the impression that Edinburgh is a much larger city than it is by walking a different way into town every day.

  6. Checkin at St Giles' Cathedral
    1. Edit

We got Dave a Stewart tartan coaster in St Giles Cathedral but forgot to give it to him, so we'll have to send it down.

  7. Edit

Ben was excited to get a miniature bottle of BenRiach from the whisky shop.

  8. Checkin at The Devil's Advocate Old Town
    1. Edit

We then headed to the Devil's Advocate for a drink where Ben & Dave had another whisky tasting.

  9. Checkin at Tuk Tuk Indian Street Food
    1. Edit

In the evening, we went for dinner at Tuk Tuk where we were surprised to find the crazy waiter we had last time, who kept swearing and making the strangest comments, still had a job and was just as crazy as ever. Dave quizzed him on whether he enjoyed his job and he told his us his real passion was stuffing animals.
