    It was time to head back home this morning and though there's so much to see in Skye that you could probably spend a whole week exploring, we felt we'd done a pretty good job in our two days.

    Though the traffic was a little "hairy" at times, we made it across the bridge to the mainland.

      We stopped off at Eilean Donan again on our way back so we could get a squished penny from the gift shop which was open.

      We came back to find our Fig surrounded by tourists taking photos again. I wonder how many holiday snaps our little car is going to appear in.

      The drive back was quick and pretty uneventful but we decided to stop off at Stewart Tower Dairy to have some ice cream.

      The dairy was full of adorable animals and we got a cone filled with hazelnut swirl and peanut crunch ice cream topped with a piece of fudge.

      I think we should make a tradition of ending every road-trip with ice cream.

    When we arrived home, we found that our super exciting birthday present to ourselves, a Lego Tower Bridge had arrived.

    We spent the rest of the day building it and ordered sushi for dinner.

    Tom made me an espresso martini to wake me up before we headed out to meet Jenny, Rin, Kylie & Rob in the city for a few drinks.
