    Tom had finally had enough of his slow old laptop not being able to keep up with him, so despite the bad weather, we decided to drive through to Glasgow to get him a new one from the Apple Store.

      He went for a super zippy brand new retina MacBook Pro, even though I'd tried to tempt him over to the Air side, and he couldn't wait to head to a coffee shop to try it out.

      We decided to stop at the Tramway in Glasgow before heading home, which is a theatre, art space and cafe in an old tram shed.

      It was quite a cool space and I tucked in to edamame pate and caramelised onion on toast. Luckily there was WIFI for Tom and his new laptop.

    I've been feeling the cooking bug recently, so tonight I attempted to make prawn pad thai for dinner. I cooked eggs in to the noodles and sprinkled crushed cashew nuts on top like they do at Wagamama:
