    You've got to make the most of sunny days when you live in Scotland, and as today was particularly sunny, we decided to jump in the car and head out on an adventure. It looked like I'd picked my outfit to go with the car with my matching trench coat... or that I was about to go on a private detective stake out.

      We decided to head to Falkirk to see The Kelpies, which are two 30-metre high sculptures of horse heads. You can take a tour to go inside them but I doubted there would be much to see.

      They were really impressive up close and I hadn't realise just how big they were until we were underneath them. It wasn't easy to capture their scale in a photograph without taking one really tall panoramic like this...

      We decided to make the most of our time in Falkirk by stopping for lunch in the town and ended up at Sumo Noodle where Tom ordered a bowl of ramen while I had some sushi.

      We'd managed to get parked right outside the restaurant and people kept stopping to check out our car and have a peek inside it while we weren't there. It was really funny but a little distracting from our meal.
