    1. Edit

Tom and I have wanted a Nissan Figaro for a while and this morning we finally bought one!

It's the cutest car I've ever seen and though it looks super vintage, it's a Japanese car that was made in 1991 and they only ever made 20,000 of them. I love everything about it but especially it's smiling face, the retro interior and convertible roof.

After picking it up on the outskirts of the city, it was time to drive it home up the motorway back to Scotland.

  3. Checkin at OK Diner Tickencote
    1. Edit

Our first stop was at an Ok Diner which felt like the perfect place to take some photos of the new car. In the short drive up, we'd already received two car compliments and everyone seemed to be smiling at the car, making the world seem like a much happier and friendlier place.

I had a bagel with peanut butter and an A&W root beer at the diner while we regained some energy for the rest of the drive.

  4. Checkin at Angel Of The North
    1. Edit

Though the drive was pretty uneventful, it did go a lot faster than we expected and it was so nice having the roof down. We stopped off at the Angel Of The North as neither of us had seen it up close.

  5. Checkin at Scottish Borders
    1. Edit

We breathed a big sigh of relief as we crossed over the border back in to Scotland that our new car had made it home but just as we did, it started raining and we had to stop to put the roof up!
