Another one of our secret missions while we were in London was to possibly buy a car, so we spent the morning travelling to the outskirts of the city to take one for a test drive. Afterwards we headed back in to town for lunch.

We went to Leon for falafel wraps and waffle fries which were one of our favourite lunch snacks when we lived in the city.

When I heard that a public toilet in Bloomsbury had been turned in to a coffee shop, it sounded too crazy not to check out.

The cafe is under the street and features original tiling, tables made from urinals and cisterns and hand dryers left in place.

It took us a little while to get over the crazyness of sitting at a urinal while trying to share a slice of cake between two stalls, but it was actual a really nice space for a coffee shop. Our coffee was really good and the lamington was delicious.

Afterwards we had to pop to the bank to withdraw the money for our car. I've never seen so much money in real life and the banker asked if this was "the biggest purchase" we'd ever made as she could tell we were excited.

  4. Checkin at The Breakfast Club

In the evening, we met up with Davina and Ross and headed to the Breakfast Club in Spitalfields for cocktails.

  5. Checkin at The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town

We'd heard their was a secret restaurant inside The Breakfast Club called The Mayor Of Scaredy Cat Town which you enter through a fridge and telling the waiter you want to see the mayor.

It really was as secret as we thought and after waiting half an hour for our table, the waiter discreetly snuck us through the fridge and downstairs into a crowded bar with cat artwork, cat bowl candles and tins of cat food. We were told that we'd exit through another door which would look like we were coming out of the toilets.

I ordered a cheese platter while Tom tucked in to a veggie burger which were both really good. It was an awesome place to hang out and I'd recommend taking someone for dinner without telling them where they're going.
