      I had a Groupon voucher for Juniper on Princess Street so we headed along for cocktails and nibbles this evening. The bar looked very fancy with plush decor and flowers but felt like a Wetherspoons with the strong smell of chips and stale beer.

      Despite the weird atmosphere, our cocktails were delicious and Tom's was served in a vase of smoke.

      The nibbles were really tasty too, especially the seaweed crackers.

      We went to see the Field Of Light in St Andrews Square afterwards which was an installation of thousands of LED lights int he grass. It was really pretty and it runs until the end of April if you're curious about checking it out.
