My Dad and I decided to have a father/daughter day out to the Glasgow Film Festival so we piled in the car and headed through this morning.

Our screenings were at the top of the Cineworld, which is the tallest cinema in the world and had an amazing view over the city.

Dad picked the first movie which was Salvo, a super tense Italian film about a hit man for the Mafia. The cinema was packed with press and Dad said he wouldn't make a very good reviewer because he loves all movies too much.

During the break, we had our photos taken at the Dr Marten's photobooth truck, flipped through comics in Forbidden Planet and had a look in the Apple Store.

I got to pick the second movie which was A Long Way Down, a comedy about a group of suicidal people who meet on the top of a building in London on New Year's Eve and decide to make a pact not to kill themselves until Valentine's day. It was really good!

  3. Checkin at monorail music

Tom and Mum picked us up after the movies and we went for dinner at Mono. I love their beetroot and walnut pate and will have to try cooking some up at home.
