  1. Checkin at Home Restaurant
    1. Edit

It was Valentine's Day today and the card I'd made for Tom felt very appropriate as he was whisking us away to the second secret stop on his mystery trip.

We checked out of our hotel and headed for a quick breakfast at Home Restaurant before making our way to the train station.

Our next stop was Dublin and the train felt like a pub as everyone sipped Guinness on our way down. I was expecting there to be some big border crossing but it turned out that we didn't even need our passports to get in to the country.

A couple of hours later, we arrived in Dublin and headed to The Gibson Hotel at The Point.

Our room was lovely with a great view over the docks and I loved the tiger eating cake print in our bathroom.

  3. Checkin at The Luas - Red Line
    1. Edit

We hopped on the tram which is called the Luas and headed in to the city to explore. I like the landmark moquette print on the seats.

Our first stop was Temple Bar which is filled with cobbles streets and bars.

  6. Checkin at The Temple Bar Pub
    1. Edit

Being good little tourists, we stopped for a Guinness and Baileys at The Temple Bar where various musicians were playing on the stage.

We continued exploring until the shops began to close when we ended up getting locked in a park and had to hunt down a guard to let us out.

  9. Checkin at Cornucopia Dublin
    1. Edit

We went for dinner at Cornucopia, an amazing restaurant serving vegetarian food and gigantic salads. I was terrified by the portion sizes so Tom and I shared some pasta which came with a side of three salads which all tasted amazing.
