We were hosting Christmas again for the family this year and everyone came to stay over last night.

I got so many amazing presents from everyone. Tom treated me to a Tiffany key (which looks like our Look At My Room logo) and planned a surprise trip to Amsterdam for us at the end of next month.

After all the family gifts were unwrapped, Dad cooked everyone French toast with vegetarian bacon and maple syrup. The Quorn was really convincing and the whole house smelled of sizzling bacon.

It was then time to open the presents from our Secret Santa Contest on CO+K and we couldn't wait to see what was inside each of them. If you don't know what I'm taking about, Secret Santa is a competition we run every Christmas where awesome companies send secret prizes to us and winners on the site.

There was a Crafterella purse from Stitchtagram, gorgeous jewellery from Shanalogic, a name necklace from Black Heart Creatives, a sparkly bow from Crown & Glory, an AdvantEdge punch system from Fiskars, a fascinator from Blue Rose Vintage, a backpack and laptop case from Poketo, an apron from Gillian Kyle, a necklace and wand from Glimmerwood, a festive sweater from Hello Holiday, a headband and POW! clip from Janine Basil, bloomers from Domestic Dame and a Sanrio scarf from Yummy You by Twinkie Chan.

It was then time for Christmas dinner. Tom and I made the starter of ravioli filled with sweet potato, Wensleydale, hazelnuts & rosemary.

Mum cooked a salmon en croute for the main course which Tom decorated with a Christmas tree.

We let Heston make the dessert and we tucked in to his chocolate caramel and ginger swirl.

We were exhausted by the end of the night and relaxed with glasses of Babycham and several rounds of Cluedo.
