  1. Checkin at Out'n'About
    1. Edit

After waking up in our cozy treehouse this morning, we really didn't want to leave the magical woods of Oregon but we had a flight to catch and it was time to get back on the road.

Our drive up through Oregon was long and pretty uneventful. I think we were starting to feel the coming-home-blues.

Eventually we crossed the state line in to Washington, coming full circle on our 50-states adventure.

  5. Checkin at The Sou'wester
    1. Edit

As this would be our last night in the US, we wanted to stay somewhere really special, so we picked the The Sou'wester which is a vintage trailer park full of airstreams and retro trailers.

There was so much to explore in the grounds and an adorable little shop selling handmade goodies.

Our room for the night was a Spartan Royal Mansion which was surprisingly spacious and kitted out in kitsch vintage decor.

Tom was convinced it could make the perfect home or office for us, though I think he'd have settled with anywhere if it meant he didn't have to leave the states.

Our trailer park was right next to the beach and you could rent bikes and cycle down. We made it to the beach just in time for sunset which looked so pretty.

  7. Checkin at Lost Roo Restaurant and Bar
    1. Edit

We went for dinner at the Lost Roo in the evening, where I tucked in to a tasty salad with a side of bruschetta. Tom had a veggie burger with potato tots and a seasonal beer which had cranberries swimming in it.

We tucked in to peanut butter pie for dessert before heading back to our trailer for the night.
