We kicked off our day with some Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast at the Thunderbird Inn this morning.

We then stopped off at Crooked River State Park and rented a tandem to ride through the forrest and swampland.

It was quite scary cycling through the forrest and the tandem wasn't as easy or comfy as we had imagined.

We were happy to be back on our feet afterwards though we were glad to have finally tried a tandem.

We took a walk through the forrest afterwards while keeping an eye out for the speedy tortoises Mike had told us about.

We didn't see any of the tortoises but we found a gigantic acorn.

We also spotted a purple and yellow spider inside a gigantic web. It was so pretty even though it was really creepy.

It was then time to get back on the road and head south to Florida.

There was free orange juice at the Welcome Centre and it really did taste better than any I'd had before.

We picked up a Holy Shitake pizza from Mellow Mushroom before heading back up the road to Georgia.

We got tempted to stop for dessert as we were passing through Savannah on our drive back and went to Lulu's Chocolate Bar for more cocktails and cake. Every city needs a bar where you can get dessert at 11pm.
