    We woke up in Charlotte, North Carolina this morning,

    We passed by a giant head spitting our water which was called the Metamorphosis.

      As we drove down through South Carolina we stopped off to see a UFO Welcome Center in Bowman.

      It was built in this guys back yard and tourists used to pay $1 to look inside.

      We then made our way to Savannah, Georgia and checked in to our super hipster motel for the night, The Thunderbird Inn.

      The motel was decorated to look like a retro 60's hotel with typewriters in the rooms, vibrating beds and Moonpies on the pillows.

      After checking in, we headed out for a wander around the city.

      I think Savannah is the most beautiful city in the US, with pretty squares every few blocks and Spannish Moss hanging from the trees.

      Tom sat on the spot where Forrest Gump's bench was in the movie.

    They were shooting the new Spongebob Squarepants movie with Antonio Banderas downtown, so some of the buildings were painted to look like cartoon shops.

      We went to Lulu's Chocolate Bar at the end of the night for cake and cocktails.

      We shared the creme brulee sampler which was amazing and I had a peanut butter cup martini.
