After waking up in our jail cell this morning, we were treated to breakfast and a tour of the jail.
They waited until the morning to tell us that our bedroom cell was haunted and until we'd finished our French toast to tell us that we were sitting where they used to do hangings.
The Jim Beam distillery was nearby so we stopped to take a tour.
We took the self guided tour because it was free but we didn't mind showing ourselves around.
At the end of the tour, we got to try four different types of bourbon. My favourite was the new maple bourbon which tasted amazing.
The eyes on this bourbon would follow you around the room.
Tom stopped off at the State Capitol in Frankfort so we could get a squished penny before leaving Kentucky.
After a few hours of driving, we eventually crossed the state line in to West Virginia.
We stopped off at Hillbilly Hot Dogs where we'd heard we could get awesome veggie hot dogs for dinner.
The place was amazing with hilarious junk and clutter everywhere. There was even an old "church bus" you could sit on while you ate.
We tucked in to a veggie dog and animal style fries while they sang a song called "we've got the weenies" to thank us for tipping.
