We didn't want to leave our motel room after waking up in the hot air balloon this morning.

We ate breakfast while sat in old dentist and barber chairs around a pit fire and then went to explore the rest of the motel.

There was even an old plane on the property which you could go on and explore.

We then stopped for lunch at Ella's Animatronic Deli which looked more like a funfair than a restaurant.

There were hundreds of toys hanging from the ceiling and around the restaurant and they were all moving.

I ordered a smoothie which was served with candy floss on the straw. It was really good!

Tom and I shared a giant salad topped with beets, goats cheese, walnuts and candied orange.

There was even a toy train set under our table.

These dancing feet people creeped us out.

We stopped off at the Mousehouse Cheesehaus to pick up some cheese before leaving Wisconsin.

We got a slab of raspberry chipotle cheddar which was really nice.

We passed through Illinois on the way to Missouri and stopped to see Abraham Lincoln's Tomb in Springfield.

Lincoln's nose had turned shiny from all the tourists rubbing it for luck. There was a gigantic storm about to hit so we had to run from the car and rub it just before the rain started.

We went for dinner at Stir Crazy where they had giant chopsticks hanging from the ceiling.

I had tofu teriyaki and crab wontons which were exactly what I wanted after a long day of driving.
