    It was my birthday today and everyone surprised me with presents and cakes in the morning.

    I got some awesome stationery for my desk including personalised pencils, a camera-style pencil sharpener and the amazing emoticon stamper I've wanted for ages (brownie points to Dad for checking my Pinterest)!

    The biggest surprise was an 11" MacBook Air from Tom which is so light that I can carry it around everywhere I go. My whole office now fits in my satchel!

      We then went for dim sum at the Imperial Palace for breakfast. It was delicious!

    Afterwards we headed through to Glasgow to spend the day exploring new places.

    We stopped at Little Urban Achievers for birthday prosecco and it was very hipster.

    We then had a look at all the potions and whiskies in Demijohn.

      We stopped for vegan nibbles and home-brewed lemonade at Mono before heading home. The food was so good!

      We went for dinner at Pizza Express in the evening, as we had coupons for two free bottles of birthday prosecco. I was a little stuffed, so I just had a salad but the bubbly was lovely!
