      Jenny was back from Japan so I met up with her, Rob, Kirsty and Malcolm at Cabaret Voltaire.

      Jenny and I had an Edinburgh Ice Tea to celebrate. The server ended up burning herself several times on the hot tea while mixing the cocktails and we felt a little guilty for ordering something so complicated.

      Jenny gave me a lucky kitty wrap which I'm going to learn how-to fold furoshiki with.

    We tried to avoid the Festival as much as possible while trying to find somewhere quiet with seats but Jenny got attacked by Mario on the way.

      We ended up at the Jekyll & Hyde which has become a regular stop for our annual Jenny fun day.

      Drinking shots from test tubes has also become a tradition.

      Tom joined us after his driving test and we celebrating him getting a license.

      Everyone else had to leave, so we took Jenny for rose & cardamon hot chocolate and tasty cakes at Lovecrumbs.

    We then took her back to our place for wine before heading out for dinner just in time to see some fireworks.

      We went to Blackbird and Jenny was super impressed by the sherbet martinis.

      I had a veggie burger which was pretty good, but not as good as the lasagna which they were out of.

      We ended the night with the taste of my hometown - Burntisland Ice Teas at Dragonfly. It was sad to wave bye to Jenny but we'll be seeing her in Japan next May for her wedding.
