We sent my Dad off to an unlimited whisky tasting festival as an early birthday present and, after 10 or more samples (he lost count), he returned with a hot shave, a free glass and feeling a little tipsy. We decided to take him to his favourite restaurant, Wagamama to sober him up with lunch.

We shared chilli squid and then I tucked in to their awesome new glass noodle salad and a strawberry, mint and berry juice.

It was a super hot sunny day so we headed to the Meadows afterwards.

I treated everyone to ice cream while they snoozed in the grass.

Mum came through in the evening and we had a classy night in with wine, cheese and Britain's Worst Hoarder. The only thing we're good at de-cluttering is cheese!
