      Today was our last day in Scotland, so Tom’s parents decided to take us on an adventure before the train home. Our first stop was South Queensferry.

      We went for coffee at Orocco Pier, which has an amazing view over the bridges. I had a gingerbread latte.

      We then went to Hamilton’s down in Stockbridge for lunch. I loved their comic book wallpaper and menus.

      I had a mushroom pie and a generous helping of Tom’s parsnip fries.

    Our train home was late to leave and felt really long. I kept myself busy with my new @[154830474563958:Instapaper] iPhone app, which I’d stocked full of articles while Tom took pretty photos out of the window.

    Dinner was an all-day vegetarian breakfast sandwich.

    When we got home, we unpacked all our presents and watched @[48683672388:Defendor] – a movie about an autistic superhero which has Kat Dennings in it.
