I'm always taking photos when I'm out and about - from arty filtered snaps of my food and action shots of cute animals to quick snaps of things I want to make and panoramas of Tom pretending to eat famous landmarks, it's important to have the perfect app for every shot.

I'm including the iPhone's main camera as one of my top apps because I still find that it takes the best quality photos. As a rule, I try to take my initial photos and videos with the main camera and then use secondary apps to enhance or add filters.

I couldn't understand why everyone loved Instagram so much at first but I've become addicted now too. It's the easiest and fastest way to artsy up your phone photos with a soft focus and nice filter/

I love Cinemagram so much. It's a perfect and easy way to add a bit of movement to your photos. It's just like being there!

This is such a cool app which lets you take a full 360 degree photo and then view it back by moving your phone around. It's perfect for capturing the feel of an impressive building.

5. iPhoto

iPhoto is my favourite app for more serious editing on the go. I don't use it too much but when I need it, it's really handy.

6. Lumie

Lumie is a little app which lets you add bokeh style filters and effects to your photos. Perfect for adding a touch of sparkle!

7. InstaCollage

For creating collages using two or more images. I like to keep mine nice and simple but it does all kinds of crazy and tacky designs.
