    It was the first ever Mini Maker Faire in Edinburgh today, so we headed along to Summerhall to check it out.

    It was very very busy with small children everywhere, which made it quite difficult to get up close to any of the gadgets but we did get to see a 3D printer in action which was awesome.

    They also had a wall made of light switches that you could turn on and off to draw pictures with. I've begged Tom to make one for me someday.

    Summerhall used to be an old veterinary school and part of the exhibition was an augmented reality game, where you walk around the corridors catching monsters on a smart phone. It was so eerie exploring the derelict medical rooms.

    Afterwards we went for a coffee and I got a free flat white, when they misheard me ordering a flapjack.
