We never get to go along to office Christmas parties anymore as we work for ourselves, so we decided to host our own and invite along all of our friends.
I've always dreamed of having a macaroon tower at one of my parties, so I challenged myself to make one.
I baked three batches to get enough to cover the entire tower, including peanut butter, chocolate orange, and salted caramel macaroons.
I also used edible silver spray paint and red and gold glitter to decorate them and they were the sparkliest macaroons I've ever seen.
I couldn't resist giving Tom one of his Christmas presents early to wear to the party. He looks so cosy in his new jumper.
We ordered a pizza from La Favorita for dinner before the party, as I'd had more than enough cooking for one weekend. We used the voucher we got as compensation last week for the pizza being so late, so it worked out well.
Then it was party time which involved lots of mulled wine, Christmas music and karaoke.
Nicole brought antlers for Tom and I, which I want to wear for the whole month.
On the subject of reindeers, Caroline brought us the cutest cupcakes which she had baked. I love how she's used pretzels as the antlers.
