What did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was younger I wanted to be so many things- a fire engine, teacher, marine biologist- but mostly I wanted to be a cat. Today I know that that isn't very practical, so I would love to be a professional singer and perform musical theatre for a living.

Where should we visit if we come to your town?

Wellington is quite a small city, but we do have our attractions; the art galleries are a must, as is Te Papa museum. A wander down the waterfront or to the botanical gardens are always nice on a sunny day, too.

Where do you look for inspiration?

For inspiration I go for walks, often to the botanical gardens. To see so much beauty in one place is mind boggling, amd really relaxing too.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

The best piece of advice I've been given is pay attention to the details, but don't lose sight of the bigger picture. And always wear shoes you can run in!

What would your three wishes be?

    Three wishes...
    1. For a garden, and enough time to tend it
    2. Good mental and physical health for those around me
    3. For life to be more forgiving
