    Continuing our birthday celebrations, I went for a makeover appointment at MAC this morning.

    They did a really nice job and managed to match my Chanel lipstick to a cheaper MAC one perfectly.

    Afterwards I met up with Tom and we went for lunch at Yo! Sushi. It was Blue Monday and we got birthday discounts too.

    We then went for a tea party at the Manna Bake House. We showed our tickets from Amy Lame's Unhappy Birthday to get a discount.

    We shared a coffee and carrot cake and got a macaron to take away.

    We then headed down to the Scottish Parliament to go on a tour.

    I like the building a lot less now that I've seen inside. It's so fussy and over thought with awkward sharp edges everywhere. I think it would be quite an uncomfotable place to work.

    Afterwards we caught a couple of free shows at the Festival, including some stand-up comedy on a bus.
