  1. Checkin at Dundee Seagate Bus Station
    1. Edit

We caught the bus from Dundee to Edinburgh this morning and played monopoly on Tom's phone and my palm to pass the time.

  2. Checkin at Princes Street
    1. Edit

We arrived in Edinburgh really early this morning and everywhere felt really eerie as the streets were empty and they'd put up huge barricades along the roads. There was a huge @[12914765438:Make Poverty History] banner on the castle.

    2. Edit

We had breakfast and then headed in to town.

  3. Checkin at tollcross
    1. Edit

We collected @[502429192:Ailsa Deans] from her house in Tollcross and then she took us to a shop nearby to buy @[105649876136429:A&W Root Beer] and @[21278871488:Mountain Dew]. We spotted this awesome wall which had been scribbled over.

  4. Checkin at The Meadows
    1. Edit

We then headed to the Meadows where @[37353380361:Eddie Izzard] was on stage doing some comedy. @[108535812510065:Annie Lenox] also came on to do some songs. The place was crowded and there were huge Make Poverty History letters errected for everyone to sign.

    2. Edit

It was then time to go on the march, which went down the mound on to Princes Street and then back up Lothian Road, returning to the meadows. We bought whistles so that we could be noisy and I got interviewed for Beat 106, where I gave a one word answer.

    3. Edit

When we finished our march, the anarchists were preparing to go on theirs and looked really scary hidden under their black scarves. We read later about how they broke in to a buildings and got on the roof.
