    We had Yarg cheese and crackers at the mews while I browsed through Mum's scratch and sniff copy of Gardener's World.

    It was the Canal Festival today, so we headed along to see what was going on.

    We queued up for a free boat trip along the canal.

    It latest for an hour and there were free coffee and biscuits which made it worth the wait.

    In the evening, we went for dinner at The Fountain because we had a 50% off flyer, which they had posted through the door.

    The food was amazing. I had a vegetarian haggis scotch egg to start.

    I then had mushroom risotto with toasted almonds. It was so good, so I'm sure we'll be going back soon.
