Lauren is amazing at finding the funniest gifs and posting them by the bucketload on her hilarious blog, so the idea of making her an animated gif necklace came pretty quickly, though figuring out how to do it was a little more complicated. I used a lenticular sheet for the body of Nyan Cat, so he runs when you move him from side to side and if you push a little button, the theme tune plays from a sound recorder glued to the back.

Can you tell my readers who you are and what you do?

I'm Lauren O'Nizzle (O'Neil, if you want to be all proper about it) -- a 20-something blogger and media chick from Toronto, Ontario. By day, I work in online news for Canada's national broadcaster - by night, I write about internet culture and geeky stuff and girly stuff and clothes and cats and my own random adventures around the city on laurenoutloud.com. I also do some TV hosting and I love to video blog. One day, I'd like to be a comedian... or maybe star in "The Real Housewives of the moon." That would be cool.

When you were a kid - what did you want to be when you were older?

A garbage man. And then a singer, like Ariel and Belle. Then, an author, an actress, a doctor, a vet... making media was something I always just did - not what I wanted to be. Yet, somehow, this is where I ended up and it all makes perfect sense. You know?

What are your best and worst habits?

Best: I work out, every single day. It's my "me time" believe it or not. Without a good long cardio daily session, my mind feels fuzzy and my body feels stiff. I've also got great oral hygeine, thank you very much :)

Worst: Texting and walking, staying up late, buying stupid things, picking at my face, picking at my boyfriend's face, watching gross videos of people picking at other people on the internet (don't Google 'cyst pop' if you're not into that -- but don't judge me other. MILLIONS of views on these vids, I swear!)

How would you describe your style and who are you ultimate style icons?

I would say... quirky-cute? I'm a trendy type I guess. I really, reallllly love clothes so I buy a lot of them. If I didn't Hate Urban Outfitters so much, I'd shop there. I like peter pan collars and leather jackets and high-waisted cut offs and buttons and bright cardigans and sassy tees. That kind of stuff. I like to add something cool and unique to every outfit I wear. I'm really feeling the 60s mod vibe and the 70s boho look right now. I wear a lot of skinny jeans and love my chucks too. I could go on about style for days, but I'll spare you... The best thing any girl can rock is confidence. I mean that.

If you could be anyone else for a day, who would you choose and, if you could join any band which would it be?

Hmmm... the first part of this question is a toughie. I'd probably be Barack Obama. I bet he's privvy to some crazy information.

The second part is easy: The Rolling stones, but in the late 1960s. Those cats knew how to entertain.

Where is your favourite place in the world and why?

There's a hidden beach near my home town that I love the most. You need to climb down a cliff to get to it, but once you do it's just gorgeous. I miss hanging out there in the summer time. The great lakes are magical :)

Do you do any crafts and what do you like to make?

No, not very much anymore. I used to do plenty of crafts at summer camp and couldn't get enough of them - but I've always been more of a doodle bug than a crafter. I am, however, studding a pair of Chuck Taylors at the moment. Is that crafty? Kind of?

Where do you find inspiration?

Sunsets, flower patches, the laughter of children... bwahaha, j.k. The internet, mostly. And people around me. I get a lot of my joke material walking around Toronto. People be HILARIOUS.

What would your dream day look like?

I'd sleep in until I was good and ready to get up. Then, I'd blog for hours and time wouldn't fly by. I'd go over to the coffee shop and grab a latte and then walk around the 'hood drinking it. The weather would be perfect and my hair would look great for once and I'd run into some cool people and maybe save a puppy's life or two. I'd go for a nice long rollerblade and I'd shop and find so many beautiful things on sale. I'd meet up with my friends on a patio and we'd have big salads and then we'd go party... very very late. I'm a night owl, for sure.

Finally, if you could have three wishes, what would they be?

1. The ability to stop time (I'd get so much done!)

2. An endless supply of money (For to buy an endless supply of clothes and / or feed the world).

2. The ability to keep all of my loved ones alive and healthy and happy until we all die, at the same time. Including my cats.
