    This week I'm attempting to do a juice detox. I've been meaning to for a while and with the summer finally starting to hit in, it felt like the perfect time to give it a shot. Luckily, we have a really great juice bar in Morningside, so I started with an expertly made berry breakfast juice which I drank while laying in the Meadows.

    We then stocked up on fruit and vegetables. I'm a little embarrassed to admit how excited I was when buying my first ever pineapple and butternut squash.

    The first juice I tried was apple, pear and pineapple which made for a tasty combination.

    I made my very first soup from a butternut squash, carrots and red onion for dinner. I hope soup counts as part of a juice detox, because I started craving something hot as the night drew in.
