    It was my Mum's turn to have a birthday party at our place today, even though her real birthday isn't until Tuesday when she's out of town.

    I baked her a lemon and poppy seed cake with lavender white chocolate on top.

    I found some sparkler candles which were amazing.

    Our present to her was a light-up dressing room table like the one Tom made for me a few years ago.

      After cake and presents, we went for a drink at the Old Chain Pier.

      We stopped in to the Botanical Gardens on the way home and I bought some lemon verbena, chocolate spearmint, and dill for my windowsill herb garden. They smell amazing.

    I made two corn crust pizzas with a goats cheese, cranberry and walnut salad for dinner.
