    Mum and Dad came through to visit today so we headed down to Stockbridge to enjoy the "last day of sunshine before the storm".

      We started off at Russian Passion, a little cafe serving traditional Russian snacks.

      I tried a pumpkin and cheese piroshki which was really nice. Dad had borsch, which my Grandad used to love and I thought was made from blood. I also had a sip of Dad's drink which was cider made from bread.

      Tom didn't find any appetizing in the cafe, so we headed to Circle afterwards so he could have a sandwich.

      Mum and I shared some sweet potato wedges which were amazing.

      Afterwards, Tom, Mum and I went for a look around the Royal Botanic Gardens.

      It was such a nice day to look around the gardens and it was quite busy.

      We then headed down to the seafront in search of a nice pub. We found one that looked over the Forth which led to us pondering, and then Googling, what the threat of a tsunami was and how many dolphins have been spotted recently.

      We then got take-out noodles from Redbox and took them home for dinner. I had udon noodles with satay sauce, sweetcorn and mushrooms.
