    @[82938456732:Dremel] sent me a 7700 cordless multi-tool, so my Dad and I spent the day making a birdbox. There's nothing better than father and daughter bonding time over power tools.

    We set up a workshop in the garage and played cheesy music (Dad still buys the Now albums on his iPhone) while the passers-by looked in curiously.

      We took a mini-break for lunch and smoothies at Piecebox. Dad looked upset when the lady offered to pour his maple syrup for him rather than leaving the jug. You shouldn't get between a Canadian and their maple syrup!

    After a long day, the birdhouse was finished and ready to decorate.

    Tom put a webcam inside so we can keep an eye on the new residents.

    Tom and Dad want me to paint it with the stars and stripes so we can start a new reality show called Birdhouse USA.

      Afterwards I treated everyone to hot chocolate and cake at The Chocolate Tree.

      Mum and I shared a pear and chocolate tart.

      Dad had churros and hot chocolate. The chocolate is so thick that if you try to sip it from the cup it feels like you're about to be suffocated by tar.

    In the evening, I cooked everyone dinner and we watched movies on Netflix.
