It was so frosty this morning that everything sparkled and looked so pretty.

  2. Edit

Our laptops both needed a few fixes from @[137947732957611:Apple Inc.], so we headed through to Glasgow with Jim & Christine.

  3. Edit

I was last in the city over four years ago, so it was quite exciting being back.

The architecture reminded Tom of Montreal. I felt like a little tourist again, taking photos of everything.

We started with a coffee in Cafe Nero, which was based in a gothic little building.

    2. Edit

I'm starting to see why Jim & Christine love the foam on their coffees so much and get disappointed when they're not given a spoon.

Afterwards we took our laptops to the Apple store. We've been to over twenty Apple stores around the world and the customer service is always amazing, but in Glasgow it was terrible. They weren't willing to help, so we're going to try again when we're in London next month.

Afterwards we went for a look around the sale at @[203975576014:Vivienne Westwood].

I tried on a gorgeous dress but it was a little too expensive to justify buying.

We went for lunch at The Butterfly & The Pig which was a kitschy tearoom, bar and restaurant that Christine had found.

There were so many interesting things to look at, from the quirky no. 13 front door on the wall to the vintage wallpaper.

    4. Edit

I ordered a salad with butternut squash, tomatoes and goats cheese.

Everything was delicious, including the tasty sweets that came with the bill.

We then went to the Riverside Museum which is the revamped transport museum.

    2. Edit

It was amazing with gigantic things to look at everywhere. In a way it was better than the @[31304634352:London Transport Museum] and the Henry Ford Museum, not to mention free compared to the other two.

There was all kinds of transport but the penny farthing was my favourite. I got a squished penny with it on.

    5. Edit

The best part of the museum was a reconstruction of an old fashion street that you could walk down and venture inside the shops.

There was even a reconstructed Glasgow underground aka clockwork orange station.

There was lots of other things to look at aside from the transport, including the @[203975576014:Vivienne Westwood] heels that Naomi Campbell fell over in.
