We headed up north to Hampstead and then to Highgate today, where we had a quick look around Kenwood House.

It reminded me of Versailles inside.

The had a huge display of shoe buckles which were really pretty.

I remembered the garden from the movie @[204165649601026:Notting Hill].

After a bite to eat in Highgate we went around the East Cemetery.

Some of the graves were tangled in tree roots and it looked like they were about to be pulled under.

The most famous grave in the cemetery was for Karl Marx. Tom said it’s been bombed twice!

Jeremy Beadle’s grave was covered in books.

This pop artist’s grave was very cool.

The best grave of all was Malcolm McLaren’s, which was a carved M M with Malcolm Was Here below.

In the evening we headed to Ikea at Wembley to get Tom a new office chair, for when he starts work in a few weeks. We had diam cake and pretending to be at home, like they do in @[61178318999:500 Days of Summer]… “honey, our taps don’t work”.
