Today we headed back to Deptford to take my parents on a art and pirate walk.
We started with lunch on the train carriage. I love their butternut squash.
We studied our map over cake and then it was time for the pirate walk.
This skull, which is on the gates of the graveyard was suppose to be the thing that inspired the Jolly Rodger!
We then walked along the docks where there were lots of crazy industrial structures. I love the high / low tide signal system.
There were quite a few art bits on the walk too.
Afterwards we headed to the Horniman Museum which had a giant seagull which would win any fight over a packet of chips.
They had an amazing aquarium in the basement. The seahorse bumped in to this fish and it ran away scared. There was a really pretty jellyfish, some tiny eels which were popping out of the sand and cute frogs.
They had an amazing music room filled with thousands of instrument and a selection you could play.
