    We woke up in Burlington, Vermont this morning and headed downtown in search of breakfast.

      We then went to see the world's tallest filling cabinet in the middle of a field.

      They were hoping to build a road on the spot which never happened but there were years of paperwork leftover, so the cabinets are to represent that.

      We then crossed the border again back in to Canada.

    We drove to Montreal, Quebec which is French Canadian.

    It was just like Paris but with skyscrapers and is the second largest French speaking city in the world. We couldn't believe how different it felt to the rest of Canada and America.

      We then checked in to our room at the Lovely Celebrity Hotel, where we had Marilyn Monroe over our bed.

      The TV remote was huge and much bigger than the actual TV.

      We went for lunch at Wok Du Chef where we started with delicious prawn toast.

      I then had a huge bowl of pad thai noodles.

      Afterwards we picked up some macaroons from Point G Boutique next door.

      We tried some interesting flavours including lavender, creme brûlée and sesame chocolate.

    We headed downtown to admire the Christmas lights. There are over 30 km of shopping arcades underground to protect customers from the weather.

    We then had a look around Old Montreal where all the old pretty buidlings and monuments were lit up.

      We then went for a drink at the Waverly Bar, where coke was more expensive than beer.

      Afterwards we warmed up with hot chocolate and Russian tea cakes at the cafe next door.

      I love when coffee shops are open late, it reminds me of Berlin.

      We then went to Cinema du Parc to see a really strange film starring Melancholia with Kirsten Dunst and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
