    We woke up in Florida this morning and went for a drive along the Gulf Coast.

    There were so many cranes and butterflies everywhere.

      We stopped for breakfast at a Waffle House, which Tom said Bill Hicks use to eat at and wasn't proud of.

      We shared a pecan and apple cinnamon oat waffle and some hash browns.

    We then drove north passing fields and fields of cotton flowers. I really wanted to pick some to see if it was as soft as it looked.

    Eventually we crossed the state line in to Alabama, our 32nd state of this trip.

      We went for dinner at Flip Burger Boutique in Birmingham, where the booths had very shiny lampshades.

    The burgers were amazing. I ordered the tuna burger, which was more like sushi, with a side of sweet potato tots dusted in chocolate salt and served with marshmallow dip.

    I also had a white truffle and pistachio liquid nitrogen milkshake.
