      We woke up in Arizona this morning and drove to the Grand Canyon.

      It was huge and so hard to see the bottom of.

      We then went to Bearizona which was a drive-through wildlife park.

      There were mountain goats, donkeys and white buffalo.

      We had to wind our windows up as we drove through the wolf enclosure.

      We were most excited about the bears who were pacing around, eating berries and scratching against the trees.

      This one was pulling down branches to get to the berries.

      We then stopped the car and went for a walk around the wildlife area.

      This area was for smaller animals such as racoons, foxes and lynx.

      The bear cubs were so cute and play fighting with each other. We really wanted to give them a cuddle.

    Afterwards we drove to Sedona, which is famous for it's bright red rock.

      We went for dinner at the Red Planet Diner.

      The diner was space themed with aliens and UFOs everywhere.

      I had tofu teriyaki noodles and Spock's Vulcan smoothie for dinner.

    The McDonald's in the town has the only turquoise coloured golden arches in the world, so that it fits in better with the landscape.

      We then checked in to a Wigwam Motel on Route 66 which we read is one of the classic American road-trip things to do.

      It was so cosy inside with fleecy blankets and each wigwam had a classic car parked out front.
