    This morning we woke up in Portland, Oregon.

    We knew it was going to be a cool city as a bunch of our favourite bands and crafters come from here.

    We started our day at the Portland Saturday Market where there were dozens of tents selling all kinds of crafts, food and Rogue beer.

      @[849030528:Amanda] and @[1089770322:Phyllis] recommended we check out Voodoo Doughnuts which is famous for it's maple and bacon donuts.

      We knew it would be good when we saw the length of the queue.

      We waited and admired the glittery wall until it was our turn. There were so many flavours to pick from, so we got a selection box which we could eat later on our road-trip. I thought we should go stake somewhere out not that we had our cop food.

    We then found the 24-hour Church of Elvis, which was tucked in to a wall in China Town.

    We were given three predictions for a quarter but you also get spiritual readings or have your fortune told for the same price.

      We went for a drink and game of pinball at a cool cafe called Backslash, which had lots of great art on the walls.

    We then went for a wander around the rest of downtown, had a look in Powell's Books and found the smallest park in the world.

      Hutch Harris from @[172420692777139:The Thermals] recommended that we check out Pho Hung, which is his current favourite restaurant.

      We had bubble tea and noodles which were delicious.

      It was then time to hit the road and drive south to California.

      We discovered an awesome Rail Road Hotel where you can stay in a caboose or box car.

      We got the honeymoon suite box car which was amazing and huge.

      It was in the middle of the pitch black forrest so you could see the stars and Milky Way so clearly.
