  1. Checkin at Medina Cafe
    1. Edit

We had the funniest wake up call this morning when Ginger (the dog), who had been patiently waiting for us to wake up, pounced on Tom after he slipped out of bed, nearly licking him to death and traumatising him for life. It reminded me of Dug from Up saying "I've just met you and I love you".

    2. Edit

We eased the trauma at the amazing Medina Cafe with lavender coffee.

    3. Edit

I had a waffle with white chocolate pistachio rose water and a side of roast potatoes for breakfast and I think it may have been the best breakfast that I've ever had.

  2. Checkin at Lighthouse Park

It was really pretty and we could hear the woodpeckers chipping away at the trees.

    4. Edit

It was a little bit of a trek but we made it to the lighthouse viewpoint.

  3. Edit

We then went to Horseshoe Bay which was very picturesque.

It was so peaceful watching the ships sail in to the bay.

  6. Edit

We could see dozens of jellyfish swimming under the pier.

  7. Edit

There was a great totem pole in the park.

We went for drinks and oysters in the Oyster & Anchor where I had a really nice mojito. We also Skyped my parents who were just getting in the bed.

    2. Edit

We tried the fried oysters which were really delicious.

  9. Edit

We found Bruce Street so Bruce posed for a photo.

    1. Edit

We headed back to downtown Vancouver and got Bruce one of the special coffees from Starbucks.

  11. Edit

There were some amazing Halloween candy apples in one of the shops.

I loved this @[314467614927:Angry Birds] one the best.

We then grabbed a veggie hot dog from @[250920188266090:JAPADOG]. They serve hot dogs topped with Japanese ingredients and have been eaten by all kinds of celebrities.

    2. Edit

We tried the teriakydog which came with teriyaki sauce, mayonnaise and seaweed. It was soooooo good! Later we found out that Mark Zuckerberg had tried one on Sunday.
