It was our last day in Tenerife today so we headed back to our favourtie place on the island… Monkey Park!

We went first thing in the morning, so the animals were wide awake and very hungry. This time we took bananas for the lemurs because they’re not interested in any of the nuts and seeds you get in the bag. One was eating a piece of corn before we came and dropped it as soon as it spotted the banana.

There was a really cute baby monkey with big eyes. Some of the monkeys had developed their own language to talk to each other.

One of the squirrel monkeys stole my Mum’s bag of food. When it had eaten all the things it liked it dropped the bag and we got it back.

We spent nearly two hours visiting the monkeys today and it was so hard to say goodbye to them. On the way out I spotted a crocodile I hadn’t noticed before. I didn’t try to feed it.

We drank “fruthies” and played pool back at the hotel until it was time to leave for the airport.

Tom snapped one last photo of the beach we visited yesterday from the plane and if you look closely, you can spot a paraglider. Back to the cold of London…
