    This morning we woke up in Kansas City which is actually in Missouri.

      We had breakfast at the Blue Bird Bistro which was really nice.

      I tried their 14th Street Benedict which had spinach and capers inside.

    We went for a walk around the neighbourhood which was filled with squirrels and we thought we'd found a lost cat. While Tom was calling the owners another cat appeared and started cuddling up to his leg.

    This wasn't the right cat, though it did look very similar and was really friendly.

      Afterwards we went for coffee at The Coffee Girls to watch the @[20531316728:Facebook] F8 announcement and fret over what it meant for @[131400513583563:fblog.me].

    We spotted a bright blue fountain and wondered whether it was suppose to be that way or if someone put a toilet tab in it.

      We then had a look around the Nelson-Atkins Sculpture Garden.

      The giant shuttlecock sculptures were so cool and a little voice warned us not to lean on them while taking photos and told us to have a great day.

      We spotted another chipmunk. They're so bouncy and cute.

    We then went to check out a couple of cool shops we had read about. Kansas is so arty and cool.

    There's a giant button and needle sculpture in the Garment District.

      We then headed to teardrops in the Power & Light district to get some bubble tea.

      They make the tea for you on the spot and then put it through a cool machine which seals it. I had the blood orange and pineapple flavour which was so good.

      We also shared a candy apple which was really tasty.

    We then drove back to Nebraska, stopping to take photos of the state line sign.

    We even stole an ear of corn from as a goodbye present.

      We arrived back in Omaha after 3,000 miles of driving across 11 state lines.
