    We loved Chicago but it was time to head east to Indianna this morning.

      Our one stop was to Gary, Indiana to see the house where @[19691681472:Michael Jackson] was born.

      We then drove across the state line to Michigan.

      Eventually we arrived in Detroit and our first stop was the Henry Ford Museum.

      The museum was filled with amazing things such as the presidential cars, the chair that Abraham Lincoln was shot in, a home from the future and the bus which Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on.

      My favourite thing was the Weinermobile.

    We read some scary things about Detroit on Google before we arrived but still wanted to check it out, so took a drive downtown.

    It was hard to believe the number of empty houses which had been left to burn or fall down.

    There's a street called The Heidelberg Project where all the foreclosed houses have been painted and decorated.

      We then drove to Hell, Michigan making hell jokes the whole way.

      There was an awesome ice cream and Halloween shop called Screams Ice Cream.

      We tried some cookie dough, butter pecan and pumpkin ice cream complete with toppings from the topping coffin.

      You could choose from toppings such as vampire blood, dead man's toenails and bat droppings.

      I think this is one of my favourite places in the entire world.

    We got a flat tire while driving through Ann Arbour and had to pull over to fix it.

      Luckily we stopped outside an awesome restaurant.

      I had mac n cheese for dinner and then we got take-out coffee from the tea pot drive through before heading to Columbus.
