This morning we went for breakfast at the Jelly Cafe.

There were cereal boxes on the walls, chandeliers made from tea cups and cutlery and super cute male / female signs on the toilets.

The food was amazing.

I had salmon benedict which was really good and came with tasty potatoes.

I loved the jar glasses for our water too.

We popped in to the awesome record store next door.

We got some cassettes to listen to in the car including @[8759772983:REM] and American movie soundtracks, which should be perfect for road-tripping.

We then went to City Park, which is Denver's version of Central Park.

I spotted a crane.

We stopped for coffee at Hot Chicka-Latte, where the waitresses dress in bikinis and serve you from a bright pink shack.

Surprisingly, they were really good and making coffee and I had the cherry popper.

Our first stop was for cupcakes in Tee and Cakes.

This shop serves t-shirts and fancy cupcakes, including chocolate and bacon flavour.

We just stuck with plain chocolate and red velvet.

We then went to the most amazing tearoom.

The tiling was so pretty.

I ordered the tiger eye tea which had a blooming flower to watch.

We stopped in to the Pearl Street Pub so that Tom could try a Left Hand beer.

We then went to explore the rest of Boulder.

It was Happy Hour at The Kitchen, an amazing restaurant we had spotted online.

I had mac 'n cheese with a gin cocktail, while Tom had fries and a beer. We shared a sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was delicious.

In the evening we went to our first ever drive-in movie which was the coolest thing ever. There are only 400 remaining drive-in's left in the US.

The movies were @[166752483379969:Shark Night], @[167168116667584:Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark] and @[104084229622989:Final Destination 5]. You could stay and watch all three movies after paying the $8 entrance fee. There were warnings of a storm, which would have been cool and scary while watching horror movies.

There was a deal for two drinks and pizza for $10, so we had dinner while watching the movies. At the end of the night, we turned on the car to find out that the battery had died. Luckily, the cinema team were on hand to re-charge everyone's cars for them.
