      We were planning to sleep in this morning when we were woken up by the fire alarm and had to evacuate the building.

      As we were up, we decided to make the most of it and go for breakfast at Louie M's Burger Lust.

      I tried my first every Bloody Mary, which was quite nice.

      I had eggs royale, without the meat, and hash browns for breakfast which were really good.

    Afterwards we jumped in the car, Tom took me to buy more craft supplies at Michaels, we grabbed a Starbucks and went road tripping up to Freemont.

      We couldn't resist stopping at the Wooden Windmill Restaurant to try one of their famous passion fruit margaritas.

      The waitress informed us that it tastes "just like punch", tweaked our cheeks and told us what a cute couple we were and gave us a tour of some photos of the windmill and it's history.

      We then drove to the state lake which was really pretty.

      On our way home, we went for our first big food shop, which was terrifying. There's so much food and it all comes in giant quantities. We got food for the week and ingredients to make @[314467614927:Angry Birds] whoopie pies.

    We had vegetarian corn dogs for dinner, which were amazing.

    I've secretly always wanted to try a corn dog but never thought I'd get the chance. We munched them while watching a show about Coney Island.

      After dinner Tom tried to surprise me with a trip to the casino but the bar we wanted to go to had closed early. It was still cool getting to see inside but casinos are so smokey!
