I seem to be cooking all the time at the moment. It's so cold outside and all I want to do is cuddle up with a nice hot bowl of something. I was even going to buy a soup cauldron, so that I could have soup always ready and hot. So in search of inspiration, Tom bought me some books. The first is Hey There, Cupcake! by Clare Crespo. She is an incredible cook and a lovely person too (well she seemed it in her e-mails anyway). Flicking through the pages makes you want them all. That's why I had a cupcake tasting party.

The second book I bought was La Dolce Vegan by Sarah Kramer. I'm not too sure if I will go vegan, but I'll definitely give it a go. My family were planing on booking a restaurant for our Christmas meal, but everywhere in our town is closed and as there will be 10 of us, we can't really go too far away. So, this year my mum and I shall be cooking. I think we are expected to make a completely traditional meal, but I'd like to make it a little more exciting.
