Our First Car

    We got our first ever car today, which is a Dodge Neon. Our mechanic friend Joe dropped it off this afternoon and showed us how to change the oil and where all the important things are. He's also going to be putting on new hub caps later in the week.

    I was very impressed with Tom's driving, especially as this was the first time he'd ever driven me anywhere.

      Our first stop was Hollywood Diner, which we'd be desperate to go to ever since we spotted it on the drive down from the airport.

      The diner was just as cool on the inside as it was out. It's famous for being the place where Warren Buffet holds business meetings and he's brought Bill Gates and Jay Z here.

      I ordered a side of mac 'n' cheese to start which was delicious.

      They serve all day breakfast, all of which are themed after films, so we ordered some waffles with pecans to share.

      I also ordered a hot fudge malt shake which was amazing and a whole meal in itself.

      We got back in the car and drove for a while, before we ended up at Village Pointe, a fancy shopping area.

      We had a quick look around the Apple store and played with the tiny MacBook Airs.

      We then had a look around Sephora which was filled with gorgeous make-up, including ranged by @[124512787581591:Tarina Tarantino], @[237437860453:Kat Von D], @[40444963499:Hello Kitty] and Toki Doki. I bought some glittery eyeliner.
