We’re super excited now that we’re able to work from anywhere, so when my parents invited us to join them on holiday in Tenerife, we jumped at the chance. We had an early start this morning, catching the EasyBus to Gatwick Airport in time for our flight.

The flight took four hours and I amused myself by reading (and finishing) @[9096265052:Danny Wallace] And The Center Of The Universe. Tom amused himself by taking photos of the clouds. As we were approaching the island, we asked a nice lady to take a photo of the volcano out of the window.

Eventually we arrived and it was lovely and warm, which was so nice after the freezing cold London we’d left behind. We hired a car and headed off to the hotel.

I joined my parents on their trip here last year but this was Tom’s first time, so he was really excited by the apartment and the pool.

After unpacking, we went for a three course meal which cost €7.50 and pitchers of sangria at Gordon Ramsay’s… nothing to do with the real Gordon Ramsay.

I had mushrooms and shrimps in garlic sauce to start, followed by the salmon, and strawberry cheesecake for dessert.

We were given a sparkling pink drink afterwards. I couldn’t tell if it was alcoholic or not.

In the evening I did some work and then we played outdoor pool.
