  1. Checkin at The Old Operating Theatre Museum
    1. Edit

My Nana really likes to hear about the darker side of London’s history, so today we went to the Old Operating Theatre, which is located in an attic near London Bridge.

    2. Edit

You have to climb up a tiny windy old staircase to get to the top but it's worth it as the museum is filled with lots of little trinkets and interesting things to look at.

    3. Edit

I really like this set of tools, which nurses use to clip on to their belts. I think this could be super handy for crafting.

    4. Edit

You can still see the blood stains on the old operating table. We stayed to watch a lecture about healthcare in the dark ages.

    5. Edit

I love how simple the snail trail game to keep kids occupied was.

  2. Checkin at Café Nero
    1. Edit

Afterwards we had lunch at the Starbucks next to the Golden Hynd.

  3. Checkin at The Clink Prison Museum
    1. Edit

We then had a look around the Clink Prison.

    2. Edit

Did you know that prisoners use to have to pay for their own imprisonment and if you had a ball and chain, you were allowed to leave the prison and see friends and family?

  4. Checkin at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre
    1. Edit

We then had a little look around The Globe.

  5. Checkin at South Bank
    1. Edit

We spent the rest of the day on the South Bank and did a bit of sightseeing.
